Why Worry?

Worry is creating a story about what you don't want.

When writing on walls was popular, I was the first one to dig out my stencil and put that saying right on the wall. As you adjust to new conditions, you are able to make minor changes and attract unique and new situations.

Last week we talked about the differences between Yin and Yang. A yang cycle calls for a more active approach to adaptation toward purposeful maneuvers. You can imagine yourself improving your thoughts with the use of guided affirmations. By adapting to more favorable attitudes and reflections, you will see  small worries fade away. They do not serve you anyway. We all know that the things we worry about to not come t pass 99% of the time!

So why worry? As you affirm that all experiences are valuable and worthwhile for the lessons and growth they provide, you will feel less threatened by the possibility of experiencing pain.

If you can set aside your worries and instead adopt a more positive outlook, you will not only feel lighter and happier, you will actually begin to attract better circumstances into your life. By using your own credibility, you create a new beginning that more closely reflects significant inner and outer change. As you start to pay attention to releasing those niggling states of worry, you can release any resistance to moving through it. Freedom from worry is the name of the game.

Next week we will talk about how easy it is to replace worry with celebration of life. YOUR life! Until then, happy days are ahead!

Yin and Yang - What's the difference?

Perhaps you have heard of the Yin and Yang symbol. If not, it originated in ancient Chinese philosophy and shows a balance between two opposite elements. The original image shows dark and light portions of half a circle, but slightly overlapping into the other half. Each half describes opposite but interconnected forces and phenomena of life. Examples are typically in pairs, such as day and night, light and dark, hot and cold, good and bad, full moon and new moon, positive and negative and so on. One cannot exist without the other. These elements coexist in all of nature and create duality of our life on earth.

In the book Your Eternal Identity the symbol is meant to represent the need for the balance of opposite forces and change.Yin is black and associated with the moon, the feminine or shadow side of life, such as the mysterious. Yang is white and associated with the sun, the masculine side of life where things are more out in the open. Neither is more important or more powerful than the other. Both are needed in equal parts for harmony to exist.

In the yin cycle, most of the action happens under the radar. This is a great time to adopt a mindset of reflection, intuition and incubation. This allows you to chill out, breathe into your inner energy and listen to the still small voice within. Yin cycles often call you to be passive. I encourage you to be aware of the difference between yin and yang and be willing to be transformed by a readiness to embrace and invite change.

Next week we will look at how we can adapt to newly formed conditions. As you do, you are able to make minor changes and attract unique and new situations that improve your life!

Change - Why do we Resist?

This book demonstrates in what ways my personal experience taught me how easy it is to align with a divine energy I call one's Eternal Identity. You will learn to eliminate FEAR by applying the messages throughout each chapter.

So why do we resist change? Because it's uncomfortable! The change I often refer to has its source in mental and emotional security, together with understanding the deeper meanings of life. As you get honest with yourself, you will gain clarity on how and why you might want to embrace change

We all wish we could snap our fingers and all problems will disappear. On the contrary the journey is not often easy. It will depend on your readiness and willingness to implement new perspectives. If you are willing to become emotionally invested, there will be life changing results.

The purpose of change is to help you identify patterns moving in or out of your experience that may not be working. Take a chance on yourself. Let go of the thoughts you tell yourself that don't feel comfortable. Imagine yourself replacing negative thoughts with positive ones. This practice will serve you very well. Once you understand what you are really saying to yourself, you can choose a different mindset through the use of affirmations.

It is well known from scientific resources that it takes from 21 days, or three weeks to create a new habit. Are you willing?

Stay tuned as we explore and apply the ancient Chinese philosophy of Yin and Yang. Examples are typically in pairs, such as day and night, hot and cold, positive and negative and so on. These elements coexist in all of nature and create the duality of our life on earth.

Transformation - One step to a Spiritually Supplied Life

 Good Day!

There are four principles outlined in Your Eternal Identity, my book to be released in October, 2024.

Transformation heads up the list. Transformation begins as a metamorphosis. It makes sense that as we grow into our bodies from infants to old age, a change of form inevitably takes place. By nature, as we mature we become the person we intend either by default or on purpose. We constantly change into a completely different person as a result of natural and supernatural laws. We will take a look at why transformation occurs internally and externally.

At times, transformation can be sudden, as in the loss of someone or something special to us. There are a myriad of emotions that result. Even though we need to be acutely aware of things we have no control over, we still have to take responsibility for how relative incidents make us feel. We can change our thoughts, and thus our actions, by choice. We can lean on benevolent Wisdom to answer the most important questions we dare to ask. With the help of the Source within, you will learn how to create your own transformation that will result in self realization.

Thoughts are things and creating them more consciously allows you to create new and better habits and patterns in your life. In this way you become the captain of your own ship, as it were, sailing through life at the helm instead of at the mercy of life's storms. You may not be able to control the storm, but you can control how you think about the storm.

Stay tuned! Next we will identify purposes for change to help you identify patterns moving in and out of your experience. Learn to let go of limitations and fly free!
